The Essentials folder contains the full pack of content, and the Standalone folder contains individual parts of the pack.

You can use a program called Playlist buddy to help set that up.This is a set of SNES ROMs, covers, cheats and more intended to be used on the Wii with the Snes9xGX emulator. The last thing I wanna touch on is Retroarch becomes so much more easier to use once you setup playlists for each core. As for a general suggestion for others, I don't have one. The games that I care about work so that's all I worry about.

Nobody is sure whats better, I just find it more conveninent to not have to boot into vWii and just use Wiiu n64 VC. I haven't tried GBC games with mgba, but you can test that by simply loading the core then browsing for the rom.įor N64 this part is really controversal. Just NEVER use 2002, its really inaccurate and only intended for low powered systems. It takes more CPU power to emulate 2010 so it wont work on 3DS, but it works perfect on wiiu. Its hard for me to tell the difference between other emulators since they're all fullspeed.įor SNES I use snes9x_2010 because its the most accurate. This list is solid, it's what I use for the most part.įor NES I use fceumm, no real reason though. Compatibility list.ĮDIT: listed WiiU N64 VC as an option - it's worth considering for the slightly wider compatibility, but has the drawback of darkened colour output.
